We are actively seeking exceptional Ph.D. candidates to join our dynamic and innovative research team at the Intelligent Networked Systems and Cybernetics Laboratory (InsCy Lab). If you are interested in exploring the areas of Embedded Intelligent Systems, Computational Health, mobile/wearable systems, and computer vision, we have exciting opportunities waiting for you!
Students with either Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering background are highly encouraged to apply.

📚 Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A strong academic background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Passion for research and a keen interest in the specified research areas.
  • A solid background in system design, embedded systems, programming, and/or Machine Learning,
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

🎯 The following background would be a big plus:

  • Graduated with a Master Degree from accredited colleges and universities.
  • Published research articles as first author.
  • Experience in practical implementation of latest Deep Learning libraries. In particular, we are looking for candidates that have experiences in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Julia, Matlab, Apache Spark and SciKit-Learn.
  • Experience in developing cyber-physical systems. Candidates have strong background in hardware-software integration and embedded systems design.
  • Experience in digital signal processing, data mining, cloud computing, and ROS (Robot Operating System).
